I'm utterly devastated hearing about little Makayla Manners. It’s so heart-wrenching to think of the potential she had and how her life was cut short due to such preventable circumstances. I’ve been reading about the conditions in the home and I just can't help but feel frustrated. Why aren't there stricter regulations for ensuring firearms are securely stored, especially in homes with children? I mean, there are common-sense steps that could make such a huge difference. I can only imagine the community’s grief and shock. Her story should be a wake-up call to society about the serious responsibility that comes with gun ownership. Sending my deepest condolences to everyone who knew and loved Makayla. Let’s hope this tragedy sparks a real conversation about change so no other family has to endure such a loss.
