I’ve been following the case of Hamner's disappearance for a while, and something about the specifics of that night really puzzles me. She was last seen leaving Moe’s Travel Plaza on foot at 3:00 a.m., which is such an odd time to just walk off, especially considering she lived with her elderly mother and was involved in her nieces’ lives. Does anyone know if the police have looked into where exactly she was headed? Was there any record of her calling someone or arranging to meet someone? It's strange for her to be leaving at that hour on foot. I wonder if someone in the area might have seen something — Elrod isn’t that big of a place. Any locals here who could chime in on what the usual late night activity is around that travel plaza?
