On the night of March 17, 2023, a violent encounter in Lawrence, Massachusetts, tragically ended the life of 24-year-old Hispanic male, Christopher Garcia. Just before midnight, the Lawrence Police Department was flooded with 911 calls reporting gunfire and a man down near 216 Walnut Street. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Garcia suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was rushed to Lawrence General Hospital, but sadly, was pronounced dead.
