Hey everyone,
I’ve been diving deep into Jihad Jackson’s case, and every time I read about it, I can’t help but feel for his loved ones. One thing that’s really sticking with me is the role of the people around Jihad that night. Eduardo, Natalie, and Dorian took such drastic steps to hide what happened. It’s mind-boggling to think about the level of fear or desperation that drives people to act this way. I wonder what made them decide that covering it up was the best course of action? Were they scared of someone, or was it just a matter of trying to protect themselves from getting involved?
There is so much silence around this case. It seems like a lot of people know more than they’re saying. If any of you have experience in cases like this, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Why do you think witnesses choose silence over justice, even when it involves the death of someone so young and promising? My heart goes out to Jihad’s family and friends who are still searching for answers.
Stay safe, everyone.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the case of Jihad Jackson and can't stop thinking about the role of community in the investigation. It's been so long, yet justice still hasn't been served for this young man and his family. It really highlights how difficult it is for police to make progress when people who might know something are afraid or unwilling to speak up. I can't imagine the frustration and pain his family must be feeling, knowing that the person responsible could still be out there.
What do you all think can be done to encourage more witnesses to come forward in cases like this? It's clear that fear of retaliation plays a big part, but there must be ways to make people feel safer about speaking up. It feels like a lot of these cases remain unsolved because of this silence, and it’s just heartbreaking for the families who are left waiting for answers. Would love to hear other perspectives on this.
