Hi everyone,
I recently came across the case of Tyrone "Fly Ty" Batts, and it just hits home how someone's life can be taken in an instant. What's been on my mind is the incredible bond Ty seemed to have with his friends from Long Island University. From everything I've read, these friendships weren't just the typical "party buddies" you find in college. They were genuine connections that he maintained even after leaving the university.
His friends have been tirelessly advocating for him, organizing events and fundraisers not only to honor him but also to keep pushing for justice. I can't help but think about how strong those friendships must have been for them to stay so engaged, even years after his tragic passing. It's a testament to the kind of person Ty was and the impact he had on those around him.
If anyone here knew Ty or his friends from LIU, I'd love to hear more about their efforts or any ways we can help support them in continuing to seek justice. Sending strength and love to everyone affected by this tragedy. ?
Stay safe out there, everyone.
I came across the case of Tyrone Batts, and it's been on my mind ever since. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends must be enduring, even after all this time. I noticed that Tyrone had such a vibrant personality, being into fashion and earning those nicknames "Fly Ty" and "Swagoo". You can tell he had a positive impact on those around him.
What intrigues me about this case is the location where he was found. Brownsville is a tough area, and it's unfortunate that it has a reputation that might sway opinions about what happened. I wonder if this has affected the investigation or public perception.
I just hope the NYPD, or anyone with info, is relentless in their pursuit of justice for Tyrone. He—like anyone else—deserves that. If there's anyone here who knows more or has theories that haven’t been shared widely, please speak up. Let's keep his memory alive and help his loved ones find the answers they need.
Did anyone else hear about the memorial service Fly Ty’s friends and family are organizing? I think it’s beautiful how his loved ones are coming together to honor his life and keep his memory alive. Given the shock and pain they must be enduring, their commitment to finding justice and support for each other is truly inspiring. I read that they’re also raising funds to aid the investigation. It’s amazing to see a community rally like this. I genuinely hope this effort brings forward someone with crucial information. Every share and donation counts in keeping Tyrone’s case visible. ? My heart goes out to his family, who are living a nightmare nobody should have to face. Let’s keep our eyes and ears open, and continue supporting their quest for justice.
