I've been following Juwan Tavares' case, and it's just gut-wrenching to see yet another young life lost to violence. Something that's been on my mind is the whole issue of the obstructed surveillance cameras at the scene. It's frustrating that such a simple thing could hinder the investigation so much. You'd think in an area like East Harlem, where tensions run high, the city would invest in better safety infrastructure. It feels like failing Juwan and others by not having clear footage that might have led to an arrest by now. It's hard not to feel for his family and the community dealing with this loss. What's even more frustrating is there might be witnesses who are scared or unwilling to come forward, and that just leaves so many questions unanswered. My heart goes out to all who knew Juwan. I hope justice comes soon and some positive change in surveillance and security can stem from this tragedy.

Has anyone else been following the updates on Juwan Tavares' case? It's been haunting me how a young life can just be taken over something so senseless. I was reading about the issues with the surveillance footage—can you imagine how frustrating it is for his family to hear that? The scaffolding blocked the cameras, complicating everything. I really hope the authorities can come up with some concrete leads despite this setback. It must be incredibly hard for Juwan's friends and family to live in this limbo, waiting for answers that seem so slow to come. I just hope they get the justice and peace they deserve. If anyone knows more about how the community is rallying or any next steps, please share. We need more awareness about these types of tragedies.

I've been following Juwan Tavares' case, and one thing that really stands out to me is how the scaffolding at the Jefferson Houses obstructed the surveillance footage. It's so concerning to think that something as simple as construction equipment can hinder justice for Juwan and his family. The community deserves better, and it's frustrating to see important evidence blocked like this. It's a painful reminder of the safety issues many residents face daily. I really hope that the authorities can find a way to navigate around these obstacles and that we can see better measures in place to ensure safety and accountability. Stay strong, everyone who knew Juwan—justice for him is so important.
