Does anyone else find it odd that his tracks just vanished after about a mile? It seems strange that a seasoned outdoorsman like Terry, who supposedly knew the area quite well, would just disappear without a trace like that. It's like he was plucked out of thin air! I wonder if there's something about the terrain there that could've caused the tracks to become illegible, like maybe a rocky area or a stream? Or could there have been some kind of local wildlife that might've gotten him off track? It's unsettling to think about what could've happened after he left the truck. Anyone with outdoor experience in the Pine Mountain area have thoughts on this?
Has anyone been following the Terry Meador case? I’ve been diving into the details and something that stands out is the cigarette found near the truck. If it was freshly smoked, could it possibly mean he was sitting outside, taking a moment to assess things after his truck got stuck? It makes me wonder about the timeframe--how long he might have stayed near the truck before heading out on foot. It's curious that the tracks just vanish after a mile. Could someone have picked him up, or did the terrain just get too challenging to leave any further marks? I’m no expert, but it seems so odd that a seasoned hunter could vanish without a trace in an area he knew so well. Anyone have insights or theories about this cigarette detail and what it might mean?
