I keep thinking about William Fernandez's four kids, especially since that tragic day was supposed to be spent celebrating Father's Day together. Can you imagine how hard that must be, to go from planning a day full of joy to facing such a nightmare? It's just unfathomable. My heart goes out to his children. Growing up without their dad, not because he chose to leave but because he was cruelly taken from them, is something no child should endure. This senseless violence brought about by a parking dispute is just so frustrating to wrap my head around. William's family, his sister Jasmine in particular, fought so hard to make sure justice was served and to keep people aware of what had happened. I really hope they find some peace and healing, knowing that his memory will live on and that the community supports them. It’s just a tragic reminder of how disputes can spiral out of control and how crucial it is to resolve them before things reach a breaking point. Let’s remember William and hold his family in our thoughts.

I’ve been following the William Fernandez case, and I can’t stop thinking about the devastating impact it must have had on his children. Losing a father is incredibly difficult, especially on something as tragic as Father's Day. I hope that they have a strong support system around them to help them navigate through such a cruel twist of fate. It’s hard to comprehend how a neighborhood dispute could spiral into such a senseless loss. My thoughts go out to them and the entire Fernandez family. It's important that communities take these kinds of conflicts seriously and work towards mediating them before they escalate to such irreversible actions. Does anyone know if there have been any efforts in Bushwick to address community disputes since this happened?

Hey everyone, I was reading up on William Fernandez's case, and something that's been sticking with me is how the community tried to rally for justice. It's so moving to see how neighbors and friends came together, circulating wanted posters and putting pressure on authorities to find Hall. It really shows the power of a united front when a community is hit with such a tragic event. It must have been a comfort to the Fernandez family to see all these people standing with them during those three difficult weeks. While nothing can bring him back, knowing that people cared enough to help chase down leads might have provided a sliver of solace. Anyone know if there were any specific community events held in his honor afterward? Would love to hear more about that!
