I recently stumbled upon the case of James Rufus Williams, and something that's been on my mind is the role of the Old Fort Finishing Plant in his disappearance. It's eerie to think that's where he was last seen to be heading. Does anyone know if there were any accidents or incidents around the plant during that time that might give us a clue? I'm curious if there were any safety issues or if the place was known for being a bit sketchy back then. Given that he left work early, I wonder if his coworkers noticed anything out of the ordinary on that day. A lot of time has passed, but sometimes workplace stories get passed down, and maybe someone out there has heard something from their parents or grandparents. It could be another piece of the puzzle in this long-unsolved mystery.
