Did anyone else see the tribute murals popping up around Utica for Stefan Medina? I passed by one on Elizabeth Street, and it just hit me so hard. These tributes really show how much Stefan meant to the community. It's nice to see people coming together to remember and honor him, but it just reminds us of the harsh reality that such a promising young life was taken too soon. My heart goes out to his family and friends who have to drive by these everyday. Has anyone else seen others around town? How's everyone in Utica coping with the loss?

Just reading about Stefan L. Medina’s case, and my heart truly goes out to his family and friends. I can’t stop thinking about the impact that this senseless act of violence has had on his loved ones and the Utica community. A 17-year-old with so much potential and a life ahead, taken away so brutally — it's deeply upsetting. The fact that this marked the seventh homicide in Utica in 2018 is alarming. I wonder if there were any previous altercations or incidents in that particular area that could provide some context. It just feels like there must be more to this, and it's frustrating when investigations take so long without clear answers. If anyone is familiar with how the police are prioritizing cases like this in Utica, or if there have been any community movements or initiatives following his death, I’d love to hear more. It seems crucial for the community to rally together to prevent further tragedies. Let's hope justice will eventually be served for Stefan and that his family finds some peace.

Seeing the community come together after Stefan Medina's tragic loss really shows the impact one person can have on so many lives. I heard there was a vigil held at the spot on Elizabeth Street where the incident happened. It was filled with friends, family, and even folks who barely knew him but felt drawn to show their support. In moments like these, you realize how important it is to stand together against senseless violence. Stefan was only 17, with so much potential ahead of him. I'm hoping that by coming together, we can push for changes that might prevent future tragedies like this. If anyone has photos or stories of the vigil, please share them. We need to keep his memory alive and support his family during this unimaginably difficult time.
