I’ve been following the case of Orville Scott, and something that has been troubling me is the lack of surveillance footage in the area where he was found. Rosedale is not exactly deserted, and there are usually a lot of cameras around city streets, especially ones with shops and traffic. It’s baffling that there hasn’t been any mention of footage that might show what happened before or after Scott was shot.
Does anyone know if the police have looked into getting footage from nearby businesses or even from the city’s traffic cameras? It feels like there should have been something caught on tape that night. If anyone in the Rosedale area remembers any cameras in the vicinity, or if there was any media coverage mentioning this aspect, it would be great to share here. Every bit of information might help push this case forward and bring peace to Orville’s loved ones.

I’ve been following the investigation into Orville Scott's tragic death, and something that keeps coming up in my mind is the difficulty the NYPD seems to be facing due to the lack of witnesses. It's baffling to me how a violent crime could occur with seemingly no one around to see or hear anything. This happened in a residential area, so it's really disheartening that no one has come forward with useful information.
