I've always been intrigued by missing person cases, and Florien Arthur Turgeon's sudden disappearance is no exception. One thing that stands out to me is how vulnerable he must have been after leaving the VA hospital. Considering his recent nervous breakdown and noticeable finger tremors, I can't help but wonder if the authorities explored the possibility of him seeking refuge at another medical facility or even with someone sympathetic within the local community. It's curious that even after all these years, there haven't been any credible sightings. Did anyone ever check around other hospitals in Maine or surrounding states at the time? It's a long shot now, but those would have been logical places for someone in his condition to go to back then. Does anyone else think this angle was fully pursued?
