Florien Arthur Turgeon, aged 50, went missing on October 5, 1971, after leaving the VA hospital in Augusta, Maine, where he had been admitted due to a nervous breakdown. Turgeon apparently escaped from the hospital and was never seen again. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as 5'4" to 5'6" tall, weighing around 130-135 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He also had distinguishing scars on his abdomen and upper midline, along with noticeable finger tremors.
