Was anyone else following the news around the 2016 Labor Day shootings in New Orleans? I recently came across Dwayne Stalks' case again, and it really got me thinking. It's so sad to think about how his family must feel, especially his mom, Angela, who lost her son so suddenly and violently. The fact that he was just one of multiple victims during that dangerous weekend highlights how serious the crime wave was back then.
I wonder if anyone in the community has come forward with information or if there are any new leads. It's frustrating to see these cases continue to haunt families for years. If any locals have updates on what's been done to improve safety in the Uptown area since then, I’d love to hear how things have changed, if at all. Let's hope Dwayne's loved ones find some peace and justice soon.
I've been thinking a lot about the recent rise in violent crime in New Orleans, especially after what happened to Dwayne Robertson Stalks. It's so unsettling to see this kind of violence hitting close to home, particularly in an area like Uptown that many of us consider a vibrant part of our community. It's deeply troubling to realize that Dwayne was just one of several victims that weekend. I can't imagine the pain his family is going through right now, especially his mother Angela and his siblings. Sending thoughts their way and hoping that justice will eventually be served. It's important that we support the police in their efforts to solve this case. If anyone has information, no matter how small it might seem, please consider coming forward. Let's hope some progress can be made soon so Dwayne and the other victims' families might find some peace.
Does anyone else feel a personal connection to the unsolved cases like Dwayne Robertson Stalks'? I often think about his family, especially his mom, Angela. It must be so incredibly tough for them to cope with this loss day in and day out, not knowing who took their loved one away. The fact that Dwayne was one of three victims just that weekend is beyond troubling. This rise in violence needs more attention from the community, and we all need to do what we can to share any info, as little as it may seem, with the authorities. It's unsettling that these shootings are still unresolved, and staying quiet about what happened isn't an option if we want to see real change. If anyone here is from the Uptown area, how has this affected your sense of security? Let's make sure Dwayne's case doesn't slip through the cracks—his family deserves answers and justice.
