Has anyone else been following the impact this tragic incident had on public safety discussions around NYC subway stations? It's beyond sad that James Cubille lost his life in such a senseless act of violence, and it happened in a place where so many of us commute and rely on daily. The fact that James' young son witnessed it all is just gut-wrenching. It raises a lot of concerns about the safety of these public spaces and whether there have been any effective changes in place since then to prevent similar tragedies. Sending thoughts to James' family and hoping that his little boy is getting all the support and care he needs. Would love to hear others' thoughts on how public areas can be made safer.
I was reading about the tragic incident involving James Cubille at the East 167th Street subway station, and it's just so unimaginable to think about the long-term impact this will have on his young son. Witnessing such a traumatic event at such a tender age could leave emotional scars that might last a lifetime. It’s incredibly important that the family seeks the right support and counseling to help him cope with his loss and what he saw. I genuinely hope the community can come together to support Cubille's son and family during these trying times. It’s stories like these that remind us not only of the importance of addressing gun violence but also of providing ongoing emotional support to those affected by such senseless acts. My thoughts are with them as they navigate through their grief and healing process.
