I’ve been thinking a lot about how word of mouth can sometimes crack even the toughest cases. Dejour Xavier Gandy was a big part of the Newfield community, and it's clear just how much he meant to so many people. The kids at the Downtown Ithaca Children’s Center must miss him terribly. It's utterly mind-boggling why someone so loved would be targeted like this. I can't help but wonder if someone out there knows something or heard something that could help the investigation. A conversation, something overheard... even the smallest detail could be crucial. I know the authorities have spoken to a lot of people already, but maybe it’s time for folks to think back again—there might be something seemingly insignificant that’s been overlooked. I hope someone comes forward soon. Gandy’s family and friends deserve answers and justice for such a senseless act. Let’s all keep Gandy in our thoughts and keep sharing his story in the hope that it reaches the right ears.

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Dejour Xavier Gandy, and I can't stop thinking about the impact his death has had on the kids at the Downtown Ithaca Children’s Center. He dedicated so much of his energy to those kids, and I’m sure they feel his absence deeply. It breaks my heart to think about how such a bright presence could be taken away in such a violent manner.
