Has anyone else been following the case of Purcell Gowie Jr.? I was really moved when I read about his work with the homeless. It’s so hard to see someone so selflessly committed to helping others lose their life in such a senseless way. I can only imagine what a loss this must be for his colleagues and clients at Services for the Underserved. This kind of violence seems to hit so indiscriminately, and it’s frankly infuriating. I noticed some new surveillance footage was released—has anyone heard of any developments since? I really hope they catch who did this and bring some closure to his family and everyone who cared about him. It feels like the community has lost a true hero.
