Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the case of Ryan Franklin, and it really got me thinking about the impact of community response to tragedies like this. From what I've read, the Nyack community was deeply shaken by the shooting, especially since it happened in broad daylight. It's clear that this incident left many residents feeling uneasy and questioning the safety of their own neighborhoods.
I've been trying to wrap my head around the effect such shocking events have on smaller communities. Do any of you local folks remember how the community came together during that time? Were there vigils or community meetings held in response? It seems like when something this terrible happens, it tends to bring people together in solidarity, but also leaves a lasting scar.
Sending love and strength to Ryan's family and friends. It's important for those of us paying attention to keep discussing these issues to support healing and push for change.
Would love to hear your thoughts or personal experiences from those who were there or know more about how the community supported one another.
Stay safe, everyone.
I’ve been following Ryan Franklin’s case since the news broke, and I can’t help but think about the role the Maryland officers played in catching Jason Jabouin so quickly. It’s a testament to how interconnected law enforcement agencies can work together across state lines. Considering Jabouin fled immediately after the tragedy, it’s almost a relief knowing he wasn’t on the run for long. This quick apprehension must’ve been a small solace to Ryan’s loved ones, knowing the person responsible wasn’t roaming free for long. My thoughts are with Ryan’s family as they continue to navigate through this. Has anyone else been following how these interstate police collaborations have been evolving?
