Has anyone delved into the timeline issues surrounding Carola Davenport’s disappearance? It's baffling to me that she wasn't reported missing until months later, in February 1976. What was going on in those four months? Was her family not in contact, or did they think she might have just left on her own for a while, perhaps to clear her head or something? It seems odd that no one raised the alarm earlier, especially since she left behind her twins. Given the delay, I can't help but wonder about Robert Wilkins and his role in those months. It seems like he would be a key person to provide insights since he was the last one to see her. But sadly, now that he's passed, we won’t hear his side. Could there have been any attempts to find her before her brother reported the matter to the authorities? Small details in cases like this often get overlooked, but they might just hold the key to understanding what truly happened. Any local insights or stories passed down from the community around Devon Street might provide some new leads. Thoughts?
