I've been following Felix Medina's case closely, and one thing I keep thinking about is how important community support can be in situations like this. It's incredibly unsettling that even with the description of the shooter, there's been no arrest. I know it must be so hard for Felix's family right now, with the lack of answers only adding to their pain.
It's moments like these that really highlight the role local people can play in bringing justice to victims and their families. Everyone around East 141st Street and Cypress Avenue—especially those who frequent La Victoria Grocery—might hold the missing piece of information that can really benefit the investigation. I hope more people from the neighborhood come forward to help police solve this awful crime.
Felix's family deserves to have some sense of closure, and his son deserves to know that justice was served for his dad. Sending strength to his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
Has anyone else been following the Felix Medina case and noticed the strange lack of updates from the police? It's been over three years now, and yet, there’s still no word on any real progress. With such a detailed description of the suspect, you'd think there'd be more to go on. I can't begin to imagine what Felix's family must be going through, especially with everyone still left in the dark about the motive or any connection between Felix and the shooter.
What really gets me is how densely populated that area is—the corner of E. 141st and Cypress is always bustling. How is it possible no surveillance footage has surfaced, or maybe it has, and they're not sharing it? I just hope that someone soon comes forward who can help finally bring some peace to Felix's family and maybe shed light on why this horrific event happened in the first place. The community deserves closure, and Felix deserves justice.
Hey everyone, I'm really curious about the timing of this tragic incident involving Felix Medina. The shooting happened outside La Victoria Grocery around midday, a time when you'd expect there to be a decent amount of foot traffic, especially in a busy neighborhood like Mott Haven. Wasn't anyone else around who might have seen or heard anything more? It's puzzling that there are no arrests yet despite the shooting occurring in broad daylight. My heart goes out to Felix's family and his young son. If there were more witnesses, maybe they'd have the chance to find some closure and get the answers they deserve. Has anyone heard if the community is doing anything, like setting up additional surveillance or street patrols, to help prevent something like this from happening again? It just feels like so many questions are still unanswered.
