I was on my morning commute today and couldn't stop thinking about Glenquel Emerson and the tragic events on Ulloa Street back in 2016. It just breaks my mind how quickly things escalated that night, and how three young lives were lost senselessly. I can't imagine the agony that Glenquel's family had to endure—waiting for answers and justice that still haven't come. But here's something that keeps gnawing at me: the video released right after the shooting. It's unimaginable that in a neighborhood where lives are intertwined, no one has stepped up with crucial information. I find it hard to believe there weren't more witnesses that could offer a key detail or two to bring those responsible to account. I keep praying for Glenquel, Darome, Bobbie, and their families. I hope the community—and those who may know something—will rally together to find justice. If anyone on here has insight or theories about why that video hasn’t led to more breakthroughs, I'd be keen to hear your thoughts. Let's keep this discussion going, as the victims—and their families—deserve nothing less. Stay safe, everyone.
