Has anyone else been following the tragic deaths of Kizer Williams and his brother Daishawn Benjamin? My heart goes out to their family during this incredibly difficult time. I can't even begin to imagine the pain of losing not one, but two loved ones in separate violent incidents so close together. What gets me is the broader issue of gang-related violence in Brooklyn. It’s so frustrating to see these ongoing conflicts tear families and communities apart, and yet it seems like nothing changes. Does anyone have any insight into what local organizations or law enforcement might be doing to combat these issues? I know the NYPD has been searching for Kizer's shooter, but it feels like such a complex problem that requires a multi-faceted approach. Every day that goes by without an arrest in Kizer's case must be incredibly hard for his family. Let's keep discussing and sharing information to support them and hopefully spur some kind of positive action in combating this violence. Stay safe, everyone.

I recently came across the tragic case of Kizer Williams and I can't stop thinking about his three-year-old son. It breaks my heart to know he'll have to grow up without his dad. From what the family says, Kizer was working hard towards a fresh start in Florida to provide a better life for his child. It’s incredibly unfair that a child has to navigate life without his father due to the senseless violence we see in these communities. I really hope the family finds strength and that the investigation brings justice for Kizer and his brother Daishawn. Has there been any progress on the suspect front or any initiatives in Brownsville to prevent such incidents? Much love to the family during this difficult time.

I just came across the case of Kizer Williams and can't stop thinking about the impact on his little boy. It's heartbreaking to think that a three-year-old has to grow up without his dad because of this senseless violence. Kizer was just trying to make a better life for his family with plans to relocate to Florida. It’s unsettling how these gang-related issues can tear families apart, even those who aren’t directly involved. Also, losing his older brother, Daishawn, only weeks later must have been incredibly difficult for everyone who knew them. I can’t imagine the pain and loss their family is going through. It just highlights how deep-rooted the violence is in the area, and it really makes you question what can be done to prevent more families from suffering like this. I hope the authorities can crack down on these incidents and bring everyone responsible to justice. Sending love and strength to all those affected.
