I've been following Michael Anthony Evans' case and can't help but feel the deep sadness his family and friends must be going through—knowing he was such a bright light in their lives. Something that stands out to me is the location. Being so close to a school for autistic children when the shooting happened just adds another layer of tragedy. Imagine the possible trauma for any witnesses, let alone young, vulnerable children. It’s haunting to think about the ripple effects of such violence. I really hope the community can rally around them too, providing the necessary support to heal from witnessing something so terrible. We all need to work together to make sure our neighborhoods are safe spaces for everyone. My heart truly goes out to Michael's loved ones, as no one should have to endure such a loss.
