Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about the safety concerns this incident brings to light. It's gut-wrenching to see someone like Darius, who had such a promising future, lose his life in what should’ve been a safe community event. I read somewhere that over 150 bullets were fired, which is beyond comprehension. It makes me wonder how many more gatherings have to end in tragedy before something changes. I'm from a similar neighborhood, and it’s terrifying to think that one evening out with friends could end this way. I truly hope the community rallies together, not just in grief and mourning, but to push for real change in policies and preventive measures. We owe it to Darius and all victims of such senseless violence to ensure safer environments. Has anyone heard any updates from those who were at the scene or the families? My heart goes out to all of them. They shouldn’t have to navigate this alone. For those of us who are far away, what ways can we stand with them during this time? Stay safe, everyone.
