I recently came across Cathy Ann DeCesare's case and can't shake off the feeling that there's something more to the cab story. Has anyone ever looked into the local cab companies from 1985? I know it's been decades, but maybe there's a log or a record somewhere that might have been overlooked. It seems strange that the only lead about her getting into a cab after work hasn't been fully confirmed. A driver or a regular passenger might remember something if prompted? I’m not from Tampa, but curious if these kinds of avenues have been exhausted. Maybe those in the area could inquire further, especially considering how critical that missing piece to the puzzle might be. Keeping my fingers crossed for some new insights!

I've been digging through old news articles and forums about Cathy Ann DeCesare's case, and something that keeps popping up is the mention of a cab she might have taken after her shift at the Seven Seas Lounge. Does anyone know if the cab companies in Tampa back then kept records of their fares and if those records were ever checked during the investigation? It's a long shot, given how much time has passed, but it's strange that this has never been definitively confirmed or denied from what I can find. It's possible her last known whereabouts could have been tracked down through this avenue, or maybe it was looked into and we've just never heard about it. Thoughts?

Hi everyone, I've been looking into Cathy Ann DeCesare's case and can't help but wonder about that cab sighting. Considering the lack of confirmed reports, do you think the cab companies operating in Tampa back then were fully checked? Given the lounge's clientele, it's possible the driver or passengers might have noticed something. I know it’s a long shot after all this time, but if anyone connected to those cab services still has records or even anecdotes from around that time, it might be worth revisiting. Maybe someone remembers a regular rider or an odd request around that date? It's puzzling how this detail hasn't led to more substantial clues. Sending my thoughts to her family as they continue to seek answers. Let's keep digging, everyone!
