Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Maurice Donnell Fatherson case, and I just can’t shake the feeling that there’s this missing piece we aren't seeing. The shooting happened in a parking lot, right? What I'm curious about is whether there was any surveillance footage recovered from nearby businesses. In densely populated areas like Suitland, you'd think there might be cameras on nearby buildings or even dashcams from passing cars. I understand that the lack of eyewitnesses has been a huge hurdle, but shouldn’t there be some footage that could offer clues? Even if the cameras didn’t capture the shooting directly, maybe they picked up something before or after that could help piece things together. It’s so disheartening that Maurice's family still lacks answers. If anyone in the community has access to footage or knows more about what businesses are in that area, maybe it would be worth checking in with them yourselves or encouraging them to reach out to the police. I really hope justice is served soon for Maurice and his loved ones.
