Was anyone else struck by the location of Joshua Morgan's murder on Ralph Street? It's so close to those industrial refineries in northern Baton Rouge. I can't help but wonder if the area itself plays a role in the lack of witnesses. I mean, it's not like a residential neighborhood with a bunch of foot traffic, right? It makes it so much tougher for the police when there aren’t a lot of people around who might have seen something. It’s so sad to think about how many families in Baton Rouge, like Joshua’s, are left waiting for answers. I can't even begin to imagine what his loved ones are going through, knowing the case remains unsolved. We talk a lot about the need for community help and how crucial it is for resolving these cases, but what happens when there simply aren't people around to see anything? It feels like we're at a standstill with these locations acting as a barrier, and it really does highlight the need for more community engagement and perhaps some different strategies from law enforcement in reaching out to those who might know something. Let’s keep discussing these cases and help bring some peace to families like Joshua’s.
