Hello everyone,
I've been following the case of Jeryan Edwards, and my heart truly goes out to his family and friends. It's particularly frustrating to think about how many lives have been affected by this senseless act of violence.
One aspect of this case that's been on my mind is the location of the shooting. Forstall and Burgundy Streets in New Orleans are areas that have seen their fair share of crime, but it's still shocking when something this tragic occurs in a place where people go about their daily lives. It's easy to overlook how these streets aren't just places on a map, but communities where people live and work.
I'm wondering if anyone has insights on whether certain community programs or surveillance strategies could have an impact in areas with frequent incidents like this. It's a tough situation for everyone involved, and I hope that the community can come together to prevent future tragedies.
If you know anything that might help the investigation, please reach out to the New Orleans Police Department or Crimestoppers. Every bit of information could make a difference.
Stay safe, everyone.
I keep thinking about the night Jeryan Edwards lost his life and how deeply it affected the community. I didn't know him personally, but I have friends who live near Forstall and Burgundy, and they say it’s not uncommon to hear gunshots in that area. It's so saddening that it takes such a tragic event for everyone to pay more attention to what's happening. I’ve seen many people reaching out, asking for justice for Jeryan and the others involved. We really need more people to come forward if they have any information that could help the investigation. The fear that keeps people silent is understandable, but change won’t happen unless we unite and support one another. Sending strength and love to Jeryan’s family and all those affected. Stay safe, everyone. ?
