Has anyone else been following the case of Dontay Hughes? I can't stop thinking about how he must have felt running to Poplar Grove Street, trying to get help. It's terrifying to imagine what he went through in those last moments. It's infuriating that, seven years later, there are still no arrests or identified suspects. I wish there were more we could do to support the investigation. Hughes and his family deserve justice, but it seems like the case has gone cold without new leads. If anyone in the community knows something, no matter how small, I really hope they come forward. We can't let this case fade away.

Hi everyone, I’ve been following the case of Dontay Hughes and something that strikes me is how the community is responding — or not responding — to the call for information. It’s so frustrating knowing that people out there might have crucial details but are too scared or reluctant to come forward. I completely understand the fear and mistrust that can exist towards law enforcement, especially in a city like Baltimore where tensions can run high. That said, it's vital for the community to recognize that sharing any bit of information, no matter how small, might bring justice for Dontay's family and help bring some peace to their hearts. It’s easy to feel powerless, but even a tiny piece of evidence can make a massive difference in solving these cases. Sending thoughts and strength to Dontay’s loved ones. I truly hope someone finds the courage to step up and offer the police what they need to move forward. We can’t let his death become just another forgotten statistic. Stay safe, everyone.
