I was reading about Sherman Carrothers Jr., and I couldn't get over the impact his loss has had on his community and family. From what everyone says, it seems like Sherman, or "Scooter" as his friends called him, was one of those guys who lit up the room. It's just so sad to think about his seven kids and four grandkids growing up without him. When you hear he was just coming home after visiting his mom and then faced such a horrific situation, it really hits you hard. Breaks my heart that no one has been caught yet. I hope someone comes forward with information soon. Sherman's family deserves answers and some measure of peace. Keeping them in my thoughts.

Imagine coming home with plans to unwind after visiting your mom, only to have everything change in an instant. It's haunting. I can't help but wonder if the burglars knew Sherman or if it was random. The fact that there haven't been any arrests must make it even harder for the family to find any peace. If anyone out there knows something, anything, I hope they find the courage to speak up. They deserve answers, and Sherman deserves justice.
