Is anyone else deeply troubled by the shooting that took place outside the daiquiri shop where Larry Williams was killed? It's such a devastating loss for his family and friends. What's more, it happened amid a spree of violence that day, marking the fourth shooting in just ten hours. Baton Rouge was really struggling with gun violence at the time, and it breaks my heart to think about all the families affected by these incidents. Larry was so young, just 22, and had his whole life ahead of him. It makes me wonder what more can be done to support communities and law enforcement in reducing these violent acts. It's so important for us to come together and push for change—no family should have to endure losing a loved one like this. Thoughts and prayers are with Larry's loved ones and the community.
