I was thinking about Deon Garner recently and it just breaks my heart. It's gut-wrenching to know that his murder still hasn't seen any progress toward justice. I can't even imagine what his family and friends are going through, living in such uncertainty and pain. There was something about the location of the crime that stood out to me — the corner of Westwood and Moreland avenues. That area has always been pretty busy, even at night, with people coming and going. It's just baffling to think nobody saw or heard anything that could help the investigation. Or maybe they're just too scared to talk, which is so understandable given how things are in Baltimore. I can only hope that someone finds the courage to share what they know. Deon deserves justice, and his family deserves peace. Keeping them in my thoughts.
Does anyone have any info on what Deon was doing in the Coppin Heights neighborhood that night? It just seems so random to me that he would end up there, especially so late. I've been following Deon's case closely and can't help but feel for his family and friends who must be going through such a tough time. It's unsettling how there haven't been any real developments in terms of suspects or arrests. If anyone knows anything or has any insight, even if it seems small, it could really help his loved ones find some peace. I wish more people would feel safe coming forward to help solve these tragic incidents.
