Has anyone else been following the Justice Allen case? The whole situation is devastating, especially knowing that it happened right in the middle of the day when people typically feel safe in their homes. I can't stop thinking about how Justice and her mom had no idea what was coming. It's just awful.
What stands out to me, beyond the sadness, is the courage it must take for Justice's family to keep pushing for answers, given all the challenges they face with the case. It seems like there are so many layers to this, especially with the police looking into possible connections with her brother's situation. I can’t even imagine how overwhelming that's got to be for them. It's crucial that the community keeps supporting them and helps ensure this case stays in the spotlight so the truth comes to light.
If anyone has been involved in local efforts or knows how we can support the family, please share. Justice deserves justice, and her family deserves peace.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about Justice Allen and Channette Neal, and I can't get over how close to home this hits, literally and figuratively. It's disturbing to realize this happened in the middle of the day. I mean, we often think of home invasions occurring at night, under a veil of darkness, but this happened right before noon. It's scary because it suggests a terrifying level of brazenness from the attackers.
I also wanted to acknowledge how gutting it must be for Antoine Benjamin to be behind bars while all this has happened on the outside—losing family while being involved in his own struggles. Whatever the circumstances or connections may be, no one deserves to face that kind of loss.
Does anyone here have any recent updates on the case or what's being done in the community to support the families? I genuinely hope they're receiving the support and comfort they desperately need. We need to rally around them and also push for more resources to curb this violence. There's too much at stake, and families shouldn't have to live in fear like this.
Sending thoughts to everyone touched by this tragedy.
