It’s so incredibly sad to think about the impact this senseless act has had on Ray's teammates and coaches. As someone who grew up playing sports, I know how tight-knit a team can become. Losing a captain and a friend like Ray must have left a huge void in the City College High School lacrosse team. Coach Anthony Ryan's tribute was so moving, recalling how Ray was more than just an athlete, but a true leader and mentor to the younger members. It's hard to fathom how the team is coping with such a loss. I hope they can find strength in each other and honor Ray by continuing to play with the same passion and dedication that he brought to the field. Keeping everyone involved in my thoughts.
