I've been thinking a lot about Lamont Woods and his family lately. While reading through some older articles, something caught my attention—how little information has been shared about potential suspects. It's been such a long time since that awful night in September 2018, and I can't imagine how hard it must be for his loved ones not to have clear answers or justice yet.
The police must have been working tirelessly, but it just feels like more needs to be done to bring whoever did this to justice. I wonder if there were any surveillance cameras in the area that could've captured something useful, or if more witnesses might be out there who haven’t yet spoken up. Lamont was only 26, with so much life ahead of him, and his community lost a good person that day.
To anyone in that area back then or even those just passing through—please, if you saw or heard anything, even if it seems small, get in touch with the authorities. His friends and family deserve answers and healing from this nightmare.
I was reading through the threads here, and something struck me about the location where Lamont Woods was found. The stairwell in the 7000 block of Hanover Parkway—is anyone familiar with that area? It seems like an odd spot for such a tragedy to occur at that time of night. Was it a known hangout, or just a place he happened to be? I feel for Lamont's family and friends; they must be grappling not only with his loss but also with the search for answers about that night. It makes me wonder about how well-lit or busy that area is usually. Maybe someone who knows the neighborhood could shed some light on whether there have been other incidents around there. Just hoping any little detail might help lead to some resolution. ?
Did anyone else find it strange that there were no surveillance footage discussions in Lamont Woods' case? Given the area and the time of the incident, I'd have thought there would be at least a few cameras around Hanover Parkway. It's so frustrating when critical pieces of information seem to be missing, especially when it feels like it could help bring justice for Lamont and some peace to his family. It makes me wonder if maybe the footage was just not available or if there wasn't any around that specific stairway. Sending strength to Lamont's family and hope that some new evidence surfaces soon. If anyone knows more about this aspect, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
