Did anyone else notice the lack of security cameras in the area where Phillip Holloway was found? I'm from a similar neighborhood, and it seems like a lot of these tragic incidents could at least have some leads if there were more surveillance solutions in place. It's frustrating that technology that could potentially deter or solve crimes isn't more widely used. I genuinely hope the city looks into increasing security measures and surveillance infrastructure, not just for justice for Phillip, but to protect others from experiencing similar tragedies. My thoughts are with Phillip’s family and friends during this difficult time. They deserve answers and peace.
Has anyone else been following the Phillip Holloway case? It’s been almost five years now, and it’s truly upsetting that there are still no leads or suspects. The fact that this happened in a neighborhood like Rosemont, which has its fair share of issues, doesn’t make it any less devastating, but maybe more difficult to solve.
What caught my attention is the role of the community in pushing for justice. It’s clear that Phillip was loved and supported by friends and family, and they’ve been vocal about their grief and frustration. I think a lot of us here empathize with their struggle.
I’m curious to know if there have been any community initiatives or movements since then to try and curb the violence? Or has there been any progress in building trust with law enforcement to break down those walls of silence and fear in these neighborhoods? We all want to see justice for Phillip and others caught in similar circumstances.
Let’s keep talking about this—keeping Phillip’s story alive might be a step towards bringing some kind of resolution. Would love to hear any thoughts or updates if anyone has them.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Phillip Holloway's case for a while, and something that keeps sticking with me is the location. Belmont Avenue in Rosemont has always been a bit of a tricky area, from what I understand, and it seems like it’s not the first time violence has struck there. There’s a lot of chatter about how residents have been asking for more active policing in the neighborhood, but it seems like the resources aren't always there. It must be incredibly difficult for Phillip's family and friends knowing that his case still hasn’t been solved, all while living in a place where they might feel unsafe. It makes me wonder what more could be done to not only help solve his case but also prevent this kind of tragedy from happening to others. There’s definitely a broader conversation to be had about improving community safety and trust between residents and law enforcement. My thoughts are with Phillip's loved ones as they continue to seek justice and healing.
