Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about Eric Ashby's case, and one thing that's really stuck with me is where they found him—in that alley near Hill Street. It seems like such an isolated and eerie spot for something so horrific to happen. I wonder if there's a reason it happened there, or if the location itself could hold some clues we might be missing.
Maybe someone in the area back then saw something out of the ordinary or remembers a strange vehicle parked nearby? I can't imagine how Eric's family has been feeling all these years, not knowing who did this or why. It just makes me hope that someone out there knows something—even the smallest detail could make a difference.
Let's keep talking about this. Maybe we can help keep Eric's memory alive and hopefully push for answers. His family deserves at least that much.
Stay safe, everyone.
I've been following Eric Ashby's case for a while now, and I keep coming back to the location where his body was found. The rear alley near 1702 Hill Street feels significant, almost like someone knew the area well or perhaps thought it was secluded enough to hide their actions. Does anyone here know if that area had any security cameras back in 2006 or if there were any eyewitnesses who might have seen someone suspicious around that time? It's been 17 long years, and it's so frustrating that the family still doesn't have answers. Sending thoughts to his loved ones who are undoubtedly still grappling with this loss. Does anyone have any insights on how cold cases like Eric's could still be solved with modern tech or social media? Maybe there's still hope.
Does anyone else find it strange that no CCTV footage seems to have come up regarding Eric Ashby's murder? I know this was back in 2006, but by then a lot of places had cameras around, especially in alleys or near businesses. It just seems odd that nothing was ever mentioned in the reports. Maybe it's possible that there were cameras in the area, but the footage wasn't available or didn't capture anything useful?
It just feels like there are so many gaps in what we know. My heart goes out to his family—his wife and kids deserve to know what happened to him. It's been far too long without answers. If someone out there knows anything, no matter how small, it might be the key to giving them the closure they need.
