On a Thursday morning in the fall of 2011, 49-year-old William James McSorley was waiting for a ride outside of a residence in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. It was September 29th, at approximately 8:00 a.m., on West Mill Street when a car approached and pulled up to the curb where he was standing. The vehicle was pointing west, in the direction of Route 309. Eyewitnesses saw McSorley, who was also known by the nicknames Bill or Willy, get into the back seat of the car.
