Hi everyone,
I've been following Corey Jones’s case for a while now, and one aspect that really puzzles me is the apparent lack of eyewitnesses or neighbors who might have heard or seen something. Given the location—3624 5th Street in Baltimore’s Southern District—I would think someone might have noticed unusual activity. Even in densely populated areas, sometimes it's just one small detail that can make a difference.
I can’t imagine how hard it must be for Corey’s family and friends not to have answers after all this time. It's infuriating to think there might be witnesses out there who haven't come forward. I guess it could be fear of retaliation or feeling like what they know isn't important enough to share. But even what seems insignificant could be the missing piece investigators need.
If anyone here is from the Baltimore area, maybe you remember hearing something around the time of Corey’s death? Please consider reaching out, even if it’s just a gut feeling or a hunch. It's vital we all rally to help bring some form of justice to Corey and peace to his family.
Stay safe, everyone.
I've been following Corey Jones's case, and it's so frustrating to see how little progress has been made. What's been on my mind lately is the role the local community might play in finding the answers his family desperately needs. There are always whispers in neighborhoods — someone must have seen or heard something on the night of March 20, 2020, but for whatever reason, they haven’t come forward yet.
Gutta was part of this Baltimore community, and his absence is felt every day by everyone who knew him. I just can’t imagine the void and pain his family is enduring without justice for their son, brother, and friend. It's important to remember him not just as a victim, but as a person who had dreams, loved his family, and was loved in return. The fear of retaliation or not trusting the police might be a hurdle, but if anyone hesitates, I hope they consider the Metro Crime Stoppers' promise of anonymity.
I keep hoping that with more awareness and community outreach, someone will have the courage to speak up. Each piece of information, no matter how small it seems, could help piece together the truth and finally bring some peace to those who knew and loved Corey.
I just came across the case of Corey Jones, also known as "Gutta," and felt compelled to post. It's so sad to think that his life was taken in such a senseless act of violence, and even more frustrating that the case hasn't been solved three years on. His family and friends must be going through so much pain without any answers.
I was wondering if anyone has heard more about the circumstances at 3624 5th Street where he was found. It seems like such a crucial detail, yet information about what happened there is so scarce. Was this a place Corey often visited or stayed at, or was he there by chance that day?
The fact that there are so few leads makes me think there could be something more to this location. If anyone has any insights or thoughts, it might push this investigation forward, even just a little. My heart goes out to Gutta’s loved ones, hoping they can find the justice they deserve.
