Hey everyone, I was just thinking about the impact that unsolved cases like Derrel Blakney's have on a community and the victim's family. It's incredibly frustrating to see how such cases stall without leads or suspects. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family must feel, knowing the person responsible is still out there. I've been following the news from Baltimore, and it seems like so many of these cases rely heavily on community involvement to move forward. But sometimes people might be too scared or feel like their information isn't important enough to share. If anyone out there has a piece of this puzzle, even if it feels insignificant, it could be what the detectives need to crack the case. As a community, we need to support families like the Blakneys by fostering an environment where people feel safe and compelled to come forward. Let's keep discussing and sharing Derrel's story until justice is served. It might take just one new lead to change everything. Stay safe, everyone.
