I’ve been following the tragic case of Pierre Daye and Brian Waters, and one detail that I can't stop thinking about is how incredible it was to see the community come together at the candlelight vigil held in their honor. It’s just so telling of the impact these young men had on those around them. Seeing the outpour of love and support from neighbors, friends, and even those who didn't know them personally really showed how deeply these losses are felt in White Oak. It's gut-wrenching to think about how their families are coping, especially with the case still unsolved. I hope the community continues to rally together and support each other through these trying times. If anyone has attended similar vigils or gatherings, I’d love to hear your thoughts or memories shared by those who knew them. It's so important to keep their stories alive while the search for justice continues.
