I’ve been following the Terry Lewis case for a while, and one detail that keeps bothering me is the time it took to categorize his death as a homicide. I can’t even imagine how difficult those months must have been for his family, not knowing if Terry’s death would ever be classified correctly. It seems like such a long wait from when he passed away in March to the official ruling in July. I wonder if this delay had anything to do with gathering evidence or if it’s a common timeframe for cases like this? My heart really goes out to Terry’s loved ones who had to experience yet another layer of traumatic waiting. Keeping them in my thoughts as the case against Gregory Eugene Young moves forward. Hopefully, the truth will come out in court, and they’ll find some piece of mind and justice for Terry.
