I've been following Tayshawn D. David's case closely, and one aspect that really stood out to me was how quickly the authorities managed to track down and apprehend Jaesiah Neal. I can't imagine the shock and pain Tayshawn's family must be going through with such a sudden loss, but it gives some comfort to know that the justice system acted swiftly to catch the perpetrator. Neal's arrest just hours after the incident in Timonium shows that there are dedicated people working tirelessly to bring about justice. It adds a layer of hope for Tayshawn's loved ones during this terribly difficult time. I just keep thinking about how each life lost impacts so many others left to mourn. My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved Tayshawn as they navigate this painful process.
