The tragic loss of Danny Kelly Jr. is a real reminder of how fragile life can be, especially when such senseless acts of violence occur. I was struck by the impact Mr. Kelly had on his community and how much he meant to his friends and family. That road rage can erupt into something so devastating is truly alarming. My heart goes out to his fiancée and their children, who had to witness such a terrifying event on what should have been a day of joy and celebration. With the increasing discussions around gun violence, it’s critical we take this seriously. It’s encouraging to see Markell Lewis found guilty, but how can we prevent this from happening again? For the sake of all the Danny Kellys out there, I hope we can find a solution.
