I’ve been thinking a lot about the house where Officer Clyde was tragically killed. It seems odd to me that the fugitive was able to hide there for so long without drawing any attention. Does anyone else find this suspicious? Were there any neighbors or locals who might have noticed something unusual but didn't report it? It makes me wonder if there was more local support for the fugitive than initially believed. Maybe this goes deeper than just the woman charged as an accomplice. It’s all so troubling to think about how many might have turned a blind eye, contributing to the risk that led to Officer Clyde's untimely passing. My thoughts go out to his family and the community of Sumter, who must have felt such shock and loss with his death. It’s a reminder of how split-second decisions and hidden alliances can impact lives drastically. I hope justice was eventually served in some form.
