Hey everyone, I was recently reading about the tragic case of Officer Elliott P. Harris and found myself thinking a lot about the husband involved. It's baffling that he only got seven months for his part in the ordeal. I know people have mixed feelings about the wife receiving a life sentence and eventual pardon, but doesn't it seem like he got off quite easy given the circumstances? I mean, Officer Harris lost his life, and the whole series of events that followed was just awful. I can’t help but feel for Officer Harris’ family, especially knowing his grandson also lost his life in the line of duty. It's haunting to think about the impact this one incident had throughout generations. Would love to hear others' thoughts on this aspect of the case.
