I was recently reading about the tragic case of Avery Leroy Howard and the tangled web of relationships around him. It's chilling to think about how trust can be so brutally betrayed. Avery was reportedly close to Gaskins, someone he knew well enough to ask for help, only to have that trust repaid with such violence. It’s hard to imagine the fear and betrayal he must have felt. Knowing Avery's fate was ultimately sealed by someone he turned to in a vulnerable time is a stark reminder of the company we keep and the dangers lurking beneath the surface. My heart truly goes out to his family and friends who had to endure such a traumatic loss. Does anyone else find it haunting how Gaskins seemed to have no boundaries, even when it came to those in his own circle?
