Has anyone else been following the Cureton case? I was particularly struck by the struggles the family faces in keeping Latoya’s story alive, especially given the lack of evidence that led to Johnson's charges being dropped. It’s been several years, and still no resolution—that's got to be incredibly difficult for her family and the community. I really admire how they’ve turned their grief into action by organizing marches and events to raise awareness not just for Latoya but to combat violence in Rock Hill as a whole. It’s a stark reminder that keeping these cases in the public eye is crucial. Every time they march or speak out, it's like they're giving Latoya a voice. If anyone has any resources on how best to support families in similar situations, please share. The more we can do, the better.
