Hey everyone, I was thinking about poor Frances Mae Davis and can't imagine the pain her family must have felt when they learned about the tragic way in which she lost her life. Sitting in a car, excited about her upcoming birthday and waiting for her daughter—it's beyond words how cruel and senseless her murder was. One thing that really struck me about this case is the wrongful death lawsuit against Myrtle Beach Mall. It makes you think about the responsibilities these establishments have to ensure a secure environment for everyone. I hadn't really considered before how lacking security measures can make such a difference and potentially put lives at risk. Knowing Frances’s family took this step to push for better safeguards, not only for their own sense of justice but to prevent other families from experiencing similar tragedies, speaks volumes about their courage and resolve. Let’s hope this leads to real changes in how public safety is handled. My thoughts are with Frances's family and everyone who cared for her. It’s such a small comfort in the wake of their loss, but seeking justice for Frances is something we all hope they achieve.
