I've been following the tragic case of the Mungin family, and I'm deeply saddened by the loss experienced by their community. What’s truly baffling is how Kenneth Ancrum's history of domestic violence seemingly went unchecked. It's frightening to think about how a previous charge, like his from August, can be dropped and then lead to such devastating consequences. It makes you wonder about the effectiveness of the current system in place to protect victims of domestic violence. Every time I hear a story like this, I can't help but think about all the warning signs that might have been overlooked. Betty, Alexis, and little Armani deserved to feel safe in their home. It's a sobering reminder to support anyone we know who might be experiencing domestic issues before they escalate to this point. My heart goes out to their family and loved ones left to deal with this unimaginable loss.
